DEPARTMENT OF RUSSIAN LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE

The Department of Russian Language and Literature is the oldest department of the South Kazakhstan State Pedagogical University, a linguo-literary-cultural center for the training of highly qualified specialists in Russian linguistics and world literature. Here students master the art of the word, get deeper and wider acquainted with the masterpieces of native and world literature, develop their creative abilities.

In 1937-1941, the Department of Philology functioned at the Chimkent Teachers' Institute named after N.K. Krupskaya, where teachers of three specialties worked - Russian, Kazakh and foreign languages and literatures. It was headed by A. Ermekov.

In the 1941-1942 academic year, two departments were organized on the basis of this department - Kazakh and Russian philology.

In the period from 1941 to 1950, the department was headed by A.M. Finkel, N.F. Pack. In 1959, the Department of Russian Philology was divided into three independent departments - the Russian language, foreign languages, Russian and foreign literature.

At various times, the department of Russian and foreign literature was headed by I.A. Smirin, E.A. Sidelnikov, P.S. Shchetinin, A.A. Nesterenko, R.S. Korsheva, F.Kh. Fatkullin, S.N. Kuznetsova, K.E. Harvard, I.A. Abdukarimov, S.S. Abdraimova, O.I. Slastukhina, U.K. Abdykhanov. The leading specialists of the Department of Russian Language and Literature were teachers of the old school - E.D. Yachevskaya, T.I. Rosentuler, N.I. Isabekova, V.V. Krasikova, N.A. Gorodova, E.M. Granatkina, R.A. Titova, G.K. Orlik, L.D Askerova, V.K. Yamalova, L.I. Krivolapova and others.

In 2006-2011, the Department of Russian Language and Literature was headed by associate professors, candidates of philological sciences N.A. Sandybaev and philosophical sciences Zh.S. Kalginbaeva., in 2010 - 2012 the department was headed by the candidate of philosophical sciences Zh.S. Kalginbaeva.

In 2012, after the reorganization at the faculty, the department of linguistics, the department of Kazakh and world literature were formed. In 2012, the Department of Linguistics was headed by Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor R.N. Begaliev; in 2013-2017 - candidate of philological sciences, associate professor D.N. Baigutova, in 2012-2017 - candidate of philological sciences, associate professor D.N. Baygutov. The heads of the department of Kazakh and world literature in these years were N.Zh. Nurpeisov, A.A. Mamyt, K.Zh. Saparbaev. In 2017, the Department of Russian Language and Literature was headed by Candidate of Philological Sciences A.K. Kalzhanova, since January 2022, the head of the department is Candidate of Philological Sciences E.A. Orynbetova.

Currently, the department has 27 teachers, including 3 doctors of philological sciences - Professor N.V. Dmitryuk, acting professor V.D. Narozhnaya, Professor G.T. Musabekov; 10 Candidates of Sciences - Associate Professors U.K. Abdykhanov, M.I. Kadeeva, G.B. Makhanova, D.A. Moldalieva, N.A. Sandybaeva, O.A. Stychev; senior lecturers E.S. Mezentseva, E.A. Orynbetova, M.K. Pulatova, G.A. Temirbekov; 6 masters - senior lecturers M.M. Utembaeva, G.E. Isabekova, S.Zh. Niyazbekov; teachers G.B. Konkabaeva, M.S. Syzdykova, Kh.D. Usmanova and others.

By the 85th anniversary of the SKGPU, the teachers of the department came with a high potential for professional development, pedagogical excellence, scientific results, which is reflected in numerous awards. The holders of the grant "The best teacher of the university" of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan are Professor N.V. Dmitryuk (2006 and 2012), associate professors O.A. Stycheva (2007), N.A. Sandybaeva (2008).

      for fruitful work in the training of teaching staff, Professor N.V. Dmitryuk in 2017 was awarded the medal of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan "To the 20th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan";

      departmental awards were awarded to acting. professor V.D. Narozhnaya (2011) - "Honored Worker of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan";

      in 2012 Stycheva O.A. awarded with diplomas of the Minister of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, in 2016 with the International Medal named after Socrates (Medal European Scientific and Industrial Consortium "Esic" - Socrates), and in 2017 with diplomas of the akim of South Kazakhstan;

         In 2018, the international medal of A.S. Pushkin "For great merits in the spread of the Russian language" was awarded acting. professor V.D. Narozhnaya. In 2019, Associate Professor M.I. Kadeev as part of a team of authors of L.N. Gumilyov received the Ybyray Altynsarin Prize of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of science "For the best scientific research and work in the field of pedagogy in 2019". V.D. Narozhnaya, M.I. Kadeev were awarded the M.V. Lomonosov of the International Association of Scientists, Teachers and Specialists of the RANH (Moscow, 2020).

Associate professors M.I. Kadeeva, O.A. Stycheva (Nur-Sultan, 2019), Art. teacher E.S. Mezentsev (Nur-Sultan, 2020). And about. professor V.D. Narozhnaya was awarded the Zhyldyn Uzdik Ustazy medal (Nur-Sultan, 2019). Prize-winning places in the international professional competition of university teachers were taken by associate professors O.A. Stycheva - 3rd place (Moscow, 2017), M.I. Kadeeva - 1st place (Moscow, 2018).

Among the teaching staff of the department are the owners of the jubilee medal "To the 80th anniversary of the South Kazakhstan State Pedagogical Institute": Professor N.V. Dmitryuk (2017), acting professor V.D. Narozhnaya (2017), associate professors, G.B. Makhanova (2017), U.K. Abdykhanov (2019), M.I. Kadeeva (2019), N.A. Sandybaeva (2019), O.A. Stycheva (2019), senior lecturers G.E. Isabekova (2019), E.S. Mezentseva (2020), M.K. Pulatova (2020), G.A. Temirbekova (2020), Utembayeva M.M. (2020), Syzdykova M.S. (2020), E.A. Orynbetova (2021).

The teaching staff of the department actively participates in the work of public organizations of the country. Members of the Kazakhstan Association of Teachers of Russian Language and Literature (KazPRYAL) are N.V. Dmitryuk, V.D. Narozhnaya, M.I. Kadeeva, O.A. Stycheva, N.A. Sandybaeva, G.B. Makhanova, U.K. Abdykhanov, G.A. Temirbekova, E.S. Mezentsev and others V.D. Narozhnaya was elected a member of the organizing committee of KazPryal. Members of the Kazakhstan Public Association "Graduates of Russian Universities" are N.V. Dmitryuk, V.D. Narozhnaya, M.I. Kadeev. The dictators of the Total Dictation (2019, 2020) were V.D. Narozhnaya, O.A. Stycheva, M.I. Kadeev.

In 2020, for the high service to the humanistic ideals of goodness, spiritual harmony, strengthening friendship and interethnic unity, acting. professor V.D. Narozhnaya was awarded a letter of thanks from the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan. In 2021, on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the ANC, for his contribution to strengthening public harmony and national unity, Associate Professor M.I. Kadeeva was awarded the badge "Meiirim".

Teachers of the department actively participate in scientific symposiums, congresses and conferences of far and near abroad, the Republic of Kazakhstan, reflect their scientific research in publications:

- in 2018-2019 academic year 30 articles were published: Scopus - 3, RSCI - 1, in journals recommended by KKSON - 4;

- in 2019-2020 academic year 47 articles published: Scopus - 3, RSCI - 5, in journals recommended by KKSON - 7;

- 47 articles were published in 2020-2021: Scopus - 3, RSCI - 4, in journals recommended by KKSON - 7.

- for the first half of the year 2021-2022 14 articles were published, including Scopus - 1, RSCI - 4.

Over the past five years, students of the department have won prizes in the team championship: 

- in the 2016-2017 academic year (on the basis of KazNPU named after Abai, Almaty), students Y. Taranova, N. Zholdykozha, F. Tursumetova took the III place (supervisor - Ph.D., associate professor U.K. Abdykhanov);

- in the 2017-2018 academic year (on the basis of L.N. Gumilyov ENU, Astana) - students Y. Taranova, G. Guzalova, T. Abdazimova took the III place (supervisor - Ph.D., Associate Professor G. B. Makhanova);

- in the 2018-2019 academic year (on the basis of L.N. Gumilyov ENU, Astana), students K. Pshenina, M. Khalmetova, K. Timirova took the II place (supervisor - Ph.D., associate professor M .I. Kadeeva);

- in the 2019-2020 academic year (on the basis of PSU named after S. Toraigyrov, Pavlodar), students K. Pshenina, M. Khalmetova, Akhmedova M. took the 1st place (supervisor - Ph.D., associate professor M. I. Kadeeva).

In August 2018, at the essay competition “Why I love the Russian language and Russian culture”, held at the Kabardino-Balkarian State University named after Kh.M. Berbekov (Nalchik), prize-winning places were taken by students K. Pshenina (1st place), A. Abdisamet (2nd place) of the specialty "Russian Language and Literature" (supervisor - Associate Professor U.K. Abdykhanov).

In 2019, associate professors of the department N.A. Sandybayeva, U.K. Abdykhanov and students of our department K. Pshenina, S. Babysh, M. Ismatova were awarded a diploma of the Chairman of the Kabardino-Balkarian Council of the Public Movement “For the Unity of Syabry” P. F. Sidorchuk, Nalchik.
