Department Of " Informatics»

The Department of "Informatics" until 2002 is known by the names "Algebra and probability theory", "Informatics and computer engineering", "Informatization".

In 1996-2008 he was Professor of ICGS A. Alibekuly.

In 2002-2003 academic year from Department" Informatization "the Department" programming and computer engineering"was allocated. The Department of "Informatization" was headed by Professor of MKTU, Ph. D., associate Professor A. Amirbekuly, Ph. D. R. Dzherenova, Ph. D. A. Niyazymbetov, the Department of "programming and computer engineering" was headed by Ph. D., associate Professor G. T. Zhakypbekova, Ph. D., associate Professor N. E. Yerzhanov, Ph. D., associate Professor G. K. Nurmukhanbetova.

In the 2011-2012 academic year the Department has again teamed up in "computer science". The Informatics Department in the 2011-2012 academic year was headed by candidate of pedagogic Sciences, associate Professor E. I. Baidebekova. Since 2012, the Department was headed by Ph. D., associate Professor myrzakhmetova B. V. Since 2017, the Department is headed by Ph. D. Suleimenova.

The Department has 6 computer classrooms, all equipped with modern technology.

 In connection with the gradual transition to teaching in English, multilingual academic groups and groups with English language of instruction have been opened in the specialties. In this regard, within the framework of external and internal academic mobility programs, contacts have been established under contracts with domestic and foreign higher education institutions.

 Our university is aimed at training in KazNPU after named Abay, Pavlodar state pedagogical University, Taraz state pedagogical University, KazNU. Al-Farabi. To improve the competence of students in the system of professional training, communicating with schools, together with employers, the Department of "Informatics" in order to strengthen cooperation between schools, K. No. 7 In the school-Lyceum named after Spatayev and school-gymnasium No. 47 named after T. Tazhibayev on a contractual basis, branches of the Department were established.

In the Republican subject Olympiad of students of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the specialty 5B011100-Informatics in each academic year, students take part and win prizes.
