Students and postgraduate students of the Department of Kazakh language and literature, teachers and professors of the university took part in the round table held by Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor Nurpeisov Nariman Zhumashuly.
The round table meeting was opened by the vice-rector for social and educational work of the University, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Professor Barshagul Kashkynkyzy Isabek, then in her speech she revealed the significance of Akhmet Baitursynov's works on the formation and development of the culture and literature of the Kazakh people, the ideological and thematic features of his poems, which reveal the idea of a prosperous movement of the society of the steppe people.
Kulbek Ergobek Sarsenuly, advisor to the rector of the university, which has an 85-year history, Doctor of Philology, professor of the Department of Kazakh Language and Literature, told about the historical events he witnessed, the selfless work and feat of his teachers in the distant Soviet times, when the name of A. Baitursynov could not be mentioned. The participants of the meeting, holding their breath, listened with great interest to the speech of the teacher and scientist. The professor revealed the invaluable contribution of A. Baitursynov to Kazakh philology, including Kazakh literary studies. Kulbek paid special attention to the book of the teacher of the Kazakh people «Knowledge of literature»».
Concluding the round table, Dean of the Faculty of Philology, Candidate of Philological Sciences Orazbayeva Elmira Beysenbaykyzy, congratulated the teaching staff and students on the beginning of the new academic year. Elmira Beysenbaykyzy emphasized that the first day of the new academic year began with such an interesting and good event. The Dean of the faculty, expressing gratitude to the participants of the round table, noted that the events honoring the teacher of the people A. Baitursynov will continue, curatorial hours and other literary and educational events are planned in student groups.
On September 15 of the current academic year, at 16:30, in the 221st auditorium of the Tumar building, in order to popularize and explain to the teaching staff and students of the Faculty of Philology, state of the nation address by President of the Republic of Kazakhstan K.Tokayev «A fair state.One nation.Prosperous society» under the leadership of the Dean of the Faculty of Orazbayeva Elmira Beysenbaykyzy, a seminar was held on the topic «The state of the nation address that determined the direction of Kazakhstan».Candidates of philological sciences, associate professors of the departments of Kazakh language and Literature Mamyt Amangeldy Altybayuly and Russian language and literature Abdykhanov Ualikhan Kibraevich made reports at the seminar on theme «The main value of our country is human», «The time of creation and progress, peace and unity».Then with the reports «Multilingual education is the most important strategy for the development of Kazakhstan» and «Justice of the state and unity of the people – in the hands of future youth» were the head of the department of foreign language Dildabekova Anar Kulbayevna and the teacher of the department of English Yerbol Erkinovich Halmirzaev, who focused on the political and economic aspects reflected in the President's state of the nation address. An evening "dedication" for 1st year students of the Faculty of Philology was held at the South Kazakhstan State Pedagogical University.
